The Blue Knights California Chapter I was established in 1993 and serves the Northern California area. The Blue Knights is a fraternal organization of law enforcement officers all of whom enjoy recreational motorcycling. The Club is dedicated to improving the motorcycling image, and to promoting safety and motorcycling as a family recreation and just having fun.
The Blue Knights were started in April 1974 when a small group of Bangor-Brewer, Maine, Law Enforcement officers organized a local recreational motorcycle club. Today the organization has grown world wide with over 600 chapters and more than 20,000 members in 24 countries.
